To start online backup in 6 simplest and fastest steps as a new user:

  1. Open An Online Backup Account
    If you don't have an account, please register one for free from here.
  2. Download & Install
    Detailed information is on this web page. If there are multiple user accounts in your Windows system, make sure you log in Windows with an user account that has administrator privileges before installation.
  3. Log in & Set A Schedule Once From Beginning
    After installation, a popup window will shows up for login after a double-click on the desktop icon.

    Once login is successful, click 'Advanced' and select 'Classic View' at top-right corner.

    Click 'Backup Mode' tab and set schedule in 'Classic View', and then click 'Apply' button.

  4. Make/Update A Backup Plan In Windows Explorer At Any Time
    Open Windows Explorer, right-click any folder/file you want to backup, and select 'Protect with BitWay Online Backup'. This operation can be done without login from now on.

  5. Confirm Backup Via Email
    In BitWay Online Backup application, click 'Tools' and select 'Run Wizard'.

    Click 'Backup Online' button in Wizard.

    Click 'Next' button twice to skip 'Step 1' and 'Step 2'.

    In 'Step 3', set the email address used to receive backup report at each time a backup is finished, and then click 'Next' button.

    Click 'Finish' button to complete this setting.

  6. Please keep your computer on and connecting to Internet at the date and time scheduled !!!
